Functionality

This function automatically collects responses to your In-Mail requests and transfers them to the response table. This way, you can see and manage all In-Mail responses in one place.

Storing Declined InMails in Target Groups

Not every recipient replies to an InMail. Some explicitly click “Decline” instead. You can strategically follow up with these contacts by saving them in a separate target group.

Possible strategies for declined InMails:

  • Following up with a connection request message
  • Sending another InMail with a different approach
  • Maintaining the contact for future outreach

To create a target group for declined InMails, name it (e.g., “Test Declined”) and save it. The group will then appear in the overview under “Target Groups.”

Managing Unanswered InMails

Not all InMails receive a response or are declined. Some simply remain unanswered. You can also save these in a separate target group.

Automatic storage of unanswered InMails:

  • You can define a target group for unanswered InMails (e.g., “Test Unanswered”).
  • Set the number of days after which an InMail is considered unanswered. 10 days is recommended.
  • CompLeadly will regularly check retrospectively whether an InMail has been answered or declined before adding it to the target group.

Note: The longer the time frame, the more messages need to be checked retrospectively, which can slow down processing.

Overview of Stored InMails

Once set up, you have a clear overview:

  • Responded InMails are listed under “Responses.”
  • Declined InMails are saved in the defined target group.
  • Unanswered InMails appear in the corresponding target group after the set period.

This allows you to take the right steps in managing your contacts effectively. If you need support, the support button is always available.
