Difference between Smart Chat and Replies Function

When you log into CompLeadly, you will encounter two main features: the Reply function and Smart Chat. Both are designed to optimize your communication streams, though in different ways. In this article, we will explain the differences and how you can effectively use both.

Understanding the Replies Function

The Replies function serves as a central collection point for all messages you send via openers, follow-ups, and campaign messages. Here you see all feedback from contacts who have responded to one of your actions.

How it works and its benefits

As soon as a contact responds to a message, the scheduled follow-up message (opener, follow-up, or campaign message) is automatically stopped or the contact is skipped to avoid duplications or inappropriate follow-up messages. These responses are recorded in the Replies table. You have the option to reactivate a contact with the paper airplane icon, so the originally planned message can still be sent. Alternatively, the contact can continue to be skipped.

Access to chat history

Clicking on a specific contact in the Replies table allows you access to the entire chat history with that contact. This gives you the opportunity to review the context of the conversation and intervene manually if necessary.

The Smart Chat Function: LinkedIn Chat with Extras

Smart Chat is an enhanced version of the normal LinkedIn chat and is executed in your LinkedIn tool sequence as well as in the CompLeadly menu. Here, all configured contacts are displayed, which helps you overlook your LinkedIn communication more efficiently.

Advanced filtering and response options

One of the main strengths of Smart Chat is the ability to filter messages, especially unanswered messages. In a normal LinkedIn chat, it can be difficult to keep track of which messages have not yet been answered. Smart Chat solves this problem with an easy-to-use filter that immediately shows you who is still waiting for a response from you.

Reply and more features

Within Smart Chat, you can directly respond to messages. After writing and saving your message, the icon of a paper airplane appears. The message will then be sent to the contact during the next execution of Smart Chat in the LinkedIn tool sequence. Additionally, Smart Chat offers many more features that improve and simplify your communication on LinkedIn.

Conclusion

In summary, the Replies function provides a clear display of all reactions to your sent openers and follow-ups and allows you to act specifically based on feedback. Smart Chat, on the other hand, extends the capabilities of the classic LinkedIn chat and helps you better structure and control your communication with additional features.
