Automatic Email Function in CompLeadly
Introduction to the Automatic Email Function
CompLeadly offers an efficient way to send automated emails to target audiences. This feature is found under the “Add More Features” section. After activation, a dialog opens where users can make specific settings.
Selection and Use of the Target Audience
For the email function, the use of imported target groups is required. This ensures that email addresses are available. Users can specify from which point in time contacts from the target group should be used for email sending. A start date can be defined so that contacts within a certain period receive only exactly one email.
Settings for Email Sending
Users can determine the number of emails to be sent. If no email address is available in the imported target group, CompLeadly checks if an email address is available among contacts. This function is optional and can be activated via a checkbox. If not activated, CompLeadly uses exclusively the email addresses stored in the imported target group.
Configuration of the Email Connection
An email connection is necessary for sending. Users can set up and select their email connection in the system. The email configuration includes entering a subject, composing the email text, and adding attachments. There is also the option to load an email preview and add blind copy recipients (e.g., your CRM system).
Additional Features and Filters
CompLeadly offers additional filter options, already known from other functions. After sending an email, contacts can be automatically transferred to another target group or removed from the current group and moved to another.
Setting Up Email Connection
To set up a new email connection, information such as the name of the connection, the sender’s email, password, SMTP host, and port are required. These details are provided by the email provider. After setting up, the connection can be tested to ensure that the email sending works.
