Setting Up a Campaign Message Follow-Up Sequence #Newsletter

Create Campaign Message, Choose Target Audience, Set Timing and Text, Set Up Follow-Ups.

First Steps: Setting Up the Campaign Messaging Feature

The first step is to set up a new feature for your campaign messages. In your dashboard, click on "Add Features" and then select the campaign messaging feature. To ensure consistent communication, we recommend creating a brand new sequence that will be sent at a specific time of day.

Audience Selection and First Message

Once the feature is set up, select the audience you want to target. Here you can also set a start date or leave it unchanged. If you want your contacts to receive only one message, simply leave the start date unchanged. You can also set specific filters that determine when the contacts should receive your message.

Text and Calculation Placeholders

For the content of your message, you have the option to use a calculation placeholder. This allows you to automatically insert certain information. How exactly this works can be found in the knowledge base or under the "custom placeholders" menu item.

Setting Up Follow-Ups

The next important step is setting up follow-ups. Click on "Add Condition" and choose what should happen once your campaign message has been sent. For example, you can move your contacts to a new audience if they have received the message. If they reply, you can also move them to another audience.

Advanced Options and Multiple Follow-Ups

You can set up as many follow-ups as you like by repeating the same process. For each follow-up, choose the appropriate audience and the time span after which the next message should be sent. Again, it is advisable to use calculation placeholders for personalized and relevant message content.
