LinkedIn language is not supported
If you receive a message when starting a workflow that your selected language within LinkedIn is currently not supported, this is usually due to the language setting of your LinkedIn account.
CompLeadly can only reliably recognize certain elements on LinkedIn if LinkedIn is set to a supported language.
Which LinkedIn languages are supported?
CompLeadly currently supports the following LinkedIn languages:
|
Language |
Supported |
|
German |
YES |
|
English |
YES |
|
Other languages |
NO |
What does the message mean?
The message means that LinkedIn is currently displayed in a language that CompLeadly does not support.
As a result, certain buttons, menu items, or notices on LinkedIn may not be recognized correctly. This can cause a workflow to not start or not be executed properly.
For example, if your LinkedIn is set to Turkish, French, Spanish, or another language, this message may appear.
What is the cause?
CompLeadly works with the visible elements on LinkedIn. These elements differ depending on the language.
If LinkedIn is not set to German or English, CompLeadly may not recognize certain areas correctly. For this reason, the workflow is blocked to prevent incorrect execution.
How to change your LinkedIn languag
You can change the language directly in your LinkedIn settings.
To do this, open this section in LinkedIn:
https://www.linkedin.com/mypreferences/d/settings/language
Select either:
Recommended setting
German
English
After that, you can reload LinkedIn and start the workflow again.
