How to use: Visit & Follow
In the world of digital networking on LinkedIn, the Visit-and-Follow function offers an effective way to gain visibility among your potential customers without traditional cold calling. This article explains how this function works, its benefits, and tips for optimal use.
Benefits and Settings
The main advantages of the Visit-and-Follow function lie in its ability to effectively and efficiently capture the attention of contacts. By following other LinkedIn users or visiting their profiles, their curiosity is piqued, which may prompt them to visit your profile and possibly establish a connection. To set up the function, a target audience must first be defined. This can be done directly on LinkedIn by copying and pasting a link into the appropriate field or by selecting a predefined group from a dropdown menu. This function is particularly useful when used as part of a Sales Navigator account, which allows for following up to 500 contacts daily. It is recommended to start with a smaller number of contacts and gradually increase this number.
Export and Expert Mode
When contacts are visited and followed, their data is transferred to an Excel or data table that can be used for further analysis and follow-ups. This table is accessible via a special export folder. For advanced users, the Expert mode offers additional customization options. Users can decide not to follow certain profiles, only consider certain genders, exclude contacts without a profile picture, or focus on premium profiles. These settings can be customized to optimally support the user's strategy and improve the conversion rate.
